Introduction to Qi Gong

Lakes Yoga Instructors Tommy and Julia McDonnell

Monday, November 7
6:30 - 8:00 PM
$15

Qi Gong is a powerful ancient Chinese ritual often referred to as 'Chinese Yoga'. It combines slow, easy movements with rhythmical breathing, producing health and vitality. Qi Gong is an internal exercise, strengthening the organs and glands while creating a uniform flow of energy in the body and developing physical strength, and coordination, and reducing stress, providing emotional peace and balance.

In just a twenty minute ritual session of Qi Gong 18 Style, you will build strength, increase flexibility, and reduce stress. You will feel invigorated and full of energy while feeling balanced and peaceful.

During this introductory class, you will receive a brief history of Qi Gong, an introduction to traditional Chinese medicine and the role Qi Gong plays in the Meridian System. You will be guided through each of the movements of Qi Gong 18 Style with detailed instruction with an opportunity to perform the ritual and experience the Body-Mind-Spirit connection of Qi Gong 18 Style.
